Day 1: Let there be sound
...and there was sound. After almost a year without sound coming out from my computer's 5.1 speakers I can finally hear the sweet sounds of music from my once dormant speakers haha. I think i know what caused the problem in my computer already. The sound card. Since it kept jamming and there was always a problem with the sound. I decided to take out the sound card and reboot it. No problems. Then when i proceeded to put the sound card in another slot, the sound worked! Halleluyah! Haha. I can foresee it working(almost) flawlessly for the next 8 months already(considering it's approahing 5 years of service). I'm just worried the sound card might get fried because it's in the slot just next to the graphics card :D Time to start copying my songs back to my comp and... Install HALO
Day 2: Let there be control
...and control was restored. This morning when I woke up I was thinking of my ps2 controller because its shoulder button was stuck for the past few weeks. The thought of opening it up never occured to me until then. Immediately got out of bed and set out to fix it. And then, VOILA! It works now and I can finally play soul calibur with gloria again haha. Man I hate made in china products, the controller is original sony product but the workmanship is shoddy compared to my other sony controller that's made in korea. My ps1 made in japan controller still works like a dream though. And it's 10 years old! I love made in japan products, good quality and long lasting! BANZAI! :P
Day 3: Tomorrow
Back to the monotonous drudgery of work and garrison life. Go figure.
Since the flu season is back again, I've noticed people around me are falling sick. Myself notwithstanding. Last wed I couldn't sleep the whole night because of of the flu. Kept flowing outta my nose nomatter where i position my head. Cannot tahan. Went to the doc and got an mc. Lucky got drowsy medication! Let me sleep better at home ...and on my makeshift bed in camp(thanks to my upperstudy who's slackness gave him the creativity to use medical equipment to make a bed haha). Think im gonna go one level up by bringing my hammock to camp, one day. It served me well in the jungles of Brunei. It will serve me well in the office! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!
