My gosh! Time truely passes by so quickly. One moment I was enlisting, the next im gonna ORD! Next week is my official ORD date! 7 May 2007, I shit you not. The day I escape from the dreaded army! National SLAVERY is almost over for me...

2 incidents soured my birthday for the first part. First was in the bus with my sis on the way to the train station. After afew stops we smelled something pungent and thought someone cut the cheese. After I suggested moving seats to the front of the bus I saw a piece of turd on the floor and even worse it was next to our seat! Luckily we didn't step on it. We immediately changed to another seat further in front of the bus. Have to pity the bus uncle... have to clean up the bus once he reaches the bus terminal.

The next thing was even more disgusting! This middle aged woman fought with a pregnant lady over a seat in the train! It is already bad enough to see people pretending to sleep or talk on their cell phones when they see pregnant women in the trains or busses(the fav pasttime of Singaporeans is being inconsiderate and selfish) but to fight with a pregnant woman over a seat? Unforgivable. Before that walking abomination took the seat the pregnant lady said "excuse me" but that thing quickly took the seat and gave her that "I'm right" look. My sis said "disgusting" in an audible but not loud volume and I lamented on the state of mentality in that person loud enough(the seat she usurped was next to my sis and I anyway) that she... i mean it, could hear what i said in the hopes of mortifying that THING. Instead of being ashamed of itself that thing said loudly "Talk cock" and turned to the person beside implying its me. I just laughed and said "What a low class reply" then preoccupied myself with frivolous conversation with my sis.

Luckily after those 2 incidents the day went by much smoother. Was supposed to have lunch at Fullerton with my sis but the restaurant was full house! So we went to MS for jap food. The ramen was 13 bucks a bowl but was very filling and leaps and bounds much better than ramen stalls open by our local people(which actually sell crap jap food anway). If u see Japanese people in a jap food stall that stall is most probably good and open by jap people. After that we went to a confectionery cafe and indulged in sinful chocolate cakes! Rich to the max! Must bring friends there one day! Anyone wanna come join me? Give me a call!

One year older... Do I like it? No way! Well... at least its better than last year when I had to spend my birthday in camp! Will update on how i spent my birthday today soon :D

After having a few of my previous blog entries lost due to my half dead computer freezing midway I've finally decided to blog using my laptop! Why so free to use my laptop? Because I'm on off today! Really have to thank my boss MSG Johnny and my big boss CPT Pauline for the offs for today and tomorrow.

My friends Don, Mun and Piggy came and celebrated my birthday(in advance) at my place yesterday! Supposed time to be at my place was 530(which piggy and i extended to 6 but did not tell don because he would be late) but all 3 of them came en masse at 640. Which was also a good thing because it took me almost(!) 3 hours to cook for them. Why were they so late? Its because they were busy making cookies for me the whole day! The cookies tastes great too! Strong on the outside, soft on the inside. They also bought me a nice blue(my fav colour!) singlet from New Urban Male with the words "swimming" on it because I used to be a school swimmer :D Will wear it when we go to pulau bukom! Did i type it correctly?

Anyway, before i started cooking my mom left me to be all alone even before i could ask her for help because i couldn't find the corn flour and she left her handphone at home. So I made a wild guess and anyhow tikam a container of flour! Luckily it was corn flour! Made Japanese curry and Korokke for them and luckily everything turned out ok. I felt the korokke was abit plain though but Piggy liked it because she dun like stuff that's too salty. Have to remember to add more cheese(hehe ~BLEHZ~) in it next time anyway! Start time for cooking, 330pm, end time, 620! So the 3 of u know when y'all came I just finish bathing :D

So how did i spend my off day today? I can finally sleep like a pig after waking up early for months! ...wait eversince CNY I've been waking up after 9am in stead of 7! Oh well I slept till 3pm today and that's what I call the life! Which may not be much of a life when I start working(Louis keeps joking about "selling backside" to get rich! NOT a clever way to make money though...). 2 and a half weeks before I leave the army! On one hand the knowledge that I'm leaving this place of horrors is filling me with excitement but on the other hand the future is very vague and filled with the unknown. Well, words of wisdom "A strong man doesn't need to know his future. He makes his own." Very true.
