I always love the smell of a product when it's just taken out of the box! It's new year's eve and people are still working! Surprising isn't it? HP called up my place some days ago and told us to collect the new laptop today and here i am blogging on it haha. My family didn't believe it because who would be working on a sunday? But my old man and I went to the warehouse to collect it anyway(and if they were closed, we'll call to complain and make them deliver to our place haha). Luckily, we reached 10 minutes before they closed. So now I have a brand new compaq presario v3000! Still haven't found out how to max out it's potential, yet(James i think i need your help). There goes 680 bucks of blood and sweat...

The past few days have been a blast for me. Met up with the TS for Christmas at Piggy's place and then BBQ(or atleast less than a quarter bbq for me since i only had a sausage, some mushrooms, some marshmellows 3 chicken wings and 1.5 bowls of laksa) at steph's place followed by the movie, BORAT:Cultural Learnings Of America For make Benefit Glorious Nation Of kazakhstan(not to mention its my first R21 movie).

So how was my first R21 movie? The best one ever! Hilarious! Haha. We've even imitated the main character and posed like him next to the poster! I think i've never laughed so hard in a movie before! It was so funny I did some stuff I never thought I'd do. I actually had to slap my leg afew times while lauging at the stupidest moments of the show. If you're talking about story line or character development and all that crap. Look elsewhere. This show is only for those who are open minded and who are just looking forward to having a good time. Please watch it! YOU LIKE! HIGH FIVE!!!

I really have to thank piggy for driving Don and I home even though it was already 330am in the morning and she herself was already on the verge of sleep. Thanks Alot!

Seriously I've drank enough alcohol(Malibu, Vodka, Bailey's and Red wine) to last me a whole year all the way to the end of the next! Why is that so? Because we(I) were(was) drinking at the little pervert's 21st birthday party. This is the first time in years that I've drank so much. Yeah... drank so much that i slept at 3 and woke up at 6 and can't go back to sleep due to a tummy ache and a feeling of wanting to puke... not to mention a headache that's creeping over my shoulders(I knew I'd regret drinking later). I must take note not to drink so much in future lest i get liver failure. Couldn't walk properly, and my train of thought's disrupted so much so that i've even got abit of problem trying to type up this blog entry!

Details of the party are sketchy at best but what I remembered was that the food from four season's was good and that I was talking to Basil's friend, Cynthia, alot because the state of her relationship status and mine are almost the same(except that she'll be going over to Norway soon to meet her boyfriend for a month). We could really understand what each other is going through and that made me miss Amie even more. I really wished she was there to tell me to stop drinking. Hmm.... maybe I drank so much that night because I missed Amie. Somebody slap me because it's only been 11 days since she's went back and I'm already behaving like as if she's been gone for a year! Basil and Eldric were playing with some kids and the kids started going wild and took pics of them on camera handphones. Then this kid called Christine started kissing Eldric and her brother, Brandon, called Basil "Uncle Muthu" and "Fish Curry Man" because he's indian. When everyone left and and only my clique and the pervert's family were left all the attention focused on me because I was drunk! I said: "I'm not supposed to be drunk! It's Soo Lim!". Can't remember what I did but only thing was that everyone laughed at everything I said even though I was thinking clearly. Even though I was drunk, I didn't strip nor streak!

After the party, We went to the old SMU for prata and along the way we picked up The little pervert's special friend Michelle. But instead of him talking to her Basil, Cynthia and I were talking to her. The pervert just kept quiet and kept asking Bernard what to say to Michelle. I don't like people feeling left out that's why I talked to her and she's quite an interesting person actually(with an interesting dress sense also). At the end of the night, We left Soo Lim and Michelle at the prata place and basil drove Cynthia, Bernard and I back home. It was 2+am already and I felt destroyed. Gonna go to basil's place later and I know Cynthia wants to get me drunk. Im not gonna drink there... My tummy still Aches.

My comp's been acting wierd(again)... SOUR! Thank God I've a "secret weapon"! A duo core 2 compaq presario v3136tu! Dunno about the stoopid name but it's a laptop(which unfortunately will not be able to play games but i still got my ps2!) haha! I think i can sell this existing comp to the gurung kuni man soon and get some much needed cash(RIP Aug 2002-Jan 2007 adieu mon ami). This month will unfortunately be my scrimp and save month. Luckily, starhub offered me the laptop for 778 bucks(usual price of 2200) or else im dead! Even got MMM(My MaMa) dicount! Too bad dun have MPP(MY PaPa) discount but my old man was kind to extend my warranty to 3 years and got me an additional battery(and paying 300 over bucks in the process)! Thanks Mom and Dad. One more month before i get a new comp... Hope this shitbox is able to hold up till then!

Due to the arrival of the monsoon season, It's been raining for the past few days. I read on the papers that the rain got so bad there was this taxi that was fully submerged in the water and mandai got flooded. Even the road outside my camp was not spared and was blocked off on monday! Thank god I was on duty that day and was unable to book out or else I'll be waiting at the bus stop like an idiot! Rained for 2 days straight and didn't stop! Today the weather was great! ...until it was book out time. It rained so bad that I was unable to book out till 1/2 and hour after book out time(which sucks because who would be dumb enough to like to stay in camp?). And now im down with a cold... Looks like all the indian food i've been consuming in camp have not protected me from a cold but have given me a cough(heaty mah). C'est la vie mes amis, c'est la vie.

Now I can finally proclaim that because her family who once opposed to our being together because we stay so far away(and I mean country far away!) has accepted me being with her due to the grace of god. I brought my rosary everytime we met :P So from today onwards... no more sneaky contacting with each other liao hahaha. Normally when I send my friends off at the airport the sad feeling is bad enough, today the feeling is a billion times worse! Even after she passed the glassy area I still found myself hanging around and then walking over to the viewing area and waiting till 2:20 so that I could see her plane fly off. Now I feel like a BIG piece of me has been taken away... I feel so empty inside. Never felt this empty, this empty before. Who is this girl? The beautiful Amie Lim. Abientot mon amie, tu est tres belle. Vous m'etre tres synpatique. Dan les 4 jours j'en suis content. Tres content.

Congratulations to 2LT Lee Yeow Ming and Adam on their commissioning parade yesterday! Do us proud. For OCS Alpha Wing 61/05 OCC and Platoon 3!! 6 months minus 2 days more of national slavery for them... 5 months minus 3 days for me hahaha!!! Time goes by so slowly after that....

Great! 5 months minus 1 day before I chabot from this army! Please... I want to break free from this place...

Since the time I last blogged, there's been nothing very significant that has been happenning until the last 7 days. First of all, Piggy celebrated her 21st birthday. Secondly, Angel got married. And lastly, my train ride on the way to camp was disrupted because someone decided to jump into the track with an incoming train(go figure). The mama drama last 7 days haha. Oh yes and Soo Lim, Singapore's shortest fighter pilot aka the little pervert, finally passed jungle survival in Brunei and got back at the "ni tu(s)",whatever that is.

In chronological order. Piggy's birthday. It's been like 6 months since we last saw each other I think. Wow! The moment she came back from her studies she celebrated her birthday! Another friend hits 21 years old. That wraps up the the whole of the TS members who have hit 21 already. That day, I went to vivocity first and walked 1/4(or less) of it, it is huge! Must go there another day. Anyway, relying on memory, I walked all the way to Piggy's place and the last time I've bee there was April 18 last year! Haha I've got photographic memory.... Actually I asked around for directions because I remembered Piggy lives near a big church :P The moment I got to her estate I forgot which block she lives in so relying on my hyper sensitive listening power I went to the noisiest building and tried my luck! Haha my intuition proved right. First person I saw was a pseudo Amabelle. I waved her but to my embarassment she didn't return the greeting, whatever, it wasn't amabelle anyway. Same face, different height. Also guess what? My Team spirit was especially strong that day! I was the first one from the TSTS to reach Piggy's place. Steph was second. And NOT surprisingly, Don was late(and as usual he said: "good things have to wait"). Too bad that day I didn't get to watch a rerun of the feng zhu show that Piggy acted in nor her cha cham bo performance hahaha :D Just saw the picture she took with Andy Lau when she was acting in one of his movies. I have to thank Steph and her dad for driving me back after Piggy's party also. Initially, I was supposed to be drivin to Lakeside MRT(near their place mah) but her dad asked me where I stayed and then he auto took the trouble to drive me all the way back to my home! Damned nice ...And saved me the transport fares at the same time :P

The day with Angel's wedding. My good friend from secondary school, the fiery dragon of the class, the FML basher, the teacher's best friend and worst nightmare, the former biggest b**** in school, the chiak zha bo. Seeing her transform from all that to the lady she is today really is a wonder. I used to say I'll pity the man who marries her. I take that back now. At her wedding banquet at the Mandarin hotel at Orchard her husband told us how he proposed to her... by not proposing at all. He told us he just said to her: "lets go to HDB" and in his own words: "then she goon-doo follow me" haha. So that day he took the opportunity to propose to her infront of all of us and presented to her a super big bouquet of flowers :) It's great to see a friend marry and seeing her so happy. It felt nice but at the same time.... scary.

The track jumper. Reading the newspapers nowadays is nothing but getting more and more grim information. Seems like people intending to end their lives are jumping into train tracks. On monday I read there was one guy who jumped into the Admiralty station tracks and when i reported to camp on tuesday another guy jumped the Yishun station. My friend told me it's 4 jumps in 2 months. Last time the "hot spots" used to be Bishan and Bukit Batok. Seems like anywhere is ok nowadays. I was visiting my grandmother yesterday and my 12 year-old cousin who was there said: "Why they want to kena hit by train and die so painfully? So stupid." haha Point to note, please dun do stupid things.
