They say the pen is mightier than the sword...
I have found out that it is indeed true... Since William, our signal spec is ORDing and there's still no one to replace him, they've posted me out and back to the camp to take over his appointment. Not a glamourous job I must say but since it's 8-5 I dun think there's much to complain about haha. I think I'll be the first OCS trained(hey! I endured 3+ months of it and after posting out, another 3 months of cadet auschwitz in that hell of a stoopid unit before succumbing to knees and back injuries, permanent I should say... so sad 2 months short of being called 2LT Lionel) signal spec in the camp! HAHA I've just set the standard... Anyone wanna contest me? OK 7+ more months of work, which after clearing leave equates to slightly more than 6 months left in this army that I have to endure!
I wonder, how different life will be like if I stayed in infantry OCS for proterm and commissioned(and possibly with a Sword Of Merit)? Because of my wanting to sign on at that time, I would've been a Guards Platoon Commander by now... It really makes me wonder... Maybe I would've still thought that national slavery was actually good(oh, the horror!!). But anyway, the thing is, I dun think it was meant to be lah. I was destined for greater heights anyway, god willing! MUAHAHAHAHAHA :D
