Time to get outta bed
Have been lying on the bed for most of the day to nurse the back injury... here pain, there pain. Cannot take it, have to get out of the bed. The newspaper, time mag and my vietnam war book cannot keep me occupied the whole day mah. So, what an I doing at 2300 hours? Listening to S.O.A.P's "Grace/Gimmie A Guitar" and the smashing pumpkins' melancholy album which brought me back to my angst filled teenage years and poly days especially when I was listening to "Zero" and "Bullet with butterfly wings".
Yesterday while on the train to the hospital I happened to peek at someone's paper regarding the 2 year-old kid who was kidnapped and murdered by her step-father. Can't believe someone could do something so evil to such a lovely child. It made me feel sick because I have a 6 year-old sis and I cannot imagine anything hurting her.
Also, while in the train I saw this pregnant lady standing and I don't know why anyone didn't bother to give her a seat! They were all pretending not to look at her! OMG, these people should burn at the stake man! If they had an injury then ok lah but not everyone sitting in a train has an injury right? Heck, even injured I still gave up my seat to the old folks and pregnent ladies! *sign* PEOPLE!!! What we need is compassion! Where is yours?
