Ever since I got my No.1 and 2 uniform I've been so inspired to commission. So close! My family got me to put them on and said I look so smart in it. Feels very special to put it on too :) but I think I have to wait awhile longer than the rest of my friends cuz I've officially OOCed and have been "promoted" to corporal and have taken a $300 reduction in pay! Guess there'll be no more officer style spending habits for awhile haha. Hopefully I can get into Delta and Foxtrot wings for my proterm and commission in dec 10 so that I could invite the TS gals since they'll be in sg for the holiday break! See, I got Team Spirit right?

So what have I been up to since that fateful day? Nothing much. Sitting around, reading the papers, books I can find lying around, surfing the net, watching rugby, passing some documents from the office to HQ(which is very near), sweeping the floor and clearing the trash. Basically a 9-5 job with alot of lobo which means I actually have time to rest and recover but it still aches even after I went for acupuncture. Haiya... I just failed my medical exam(and I know some bitch is very happy I failed it) to be a regular but since I've made another appointment, let's hope I pass it :)

Since I've been postde to STW(specialist training wing) which trains the future sergeants aka the back bone of the army, I've been interacting with them. Best part is that Wei Xun and Jian Wei is there which means I've got friends. Anyway, I always go up to their bunks to tok kok lah. Being in the company of the corporals or rather, sergeants to be really boosted my confidence because I know I can connect with them. That means when I eventually become an officer I know I can have good working relationships with the Sect comds under me. And no, I do NOT believe in drawing the line between officers and non-coms because I believe in maintaining friendship with the sect comds but at the same time maintain professionalism during work and if I have to screw the sect comds I will do it(but discreetly away from the men). But lets hope that never happens.

So sian, more of my friend are leaving me. First, my 3rd cadet buddy Wei Siong to be a pilot, then the TS girls to aus to study, then the little pervert, another pilot in afew weeks time and Al next month on a year-long detachment to Thailand. Must drink until we are drunk and merry ya! To our usual bar!
