I sense a disturbance in the force......

......... it's as if millions of souls were crying out in fear(familiar line?). Yes, I've finally watched "Sith" and can give a full review of the movie. But before that, let me give a breakdown of the day. Met up with the TK Clan, and was supposed to go swimming. Guess what? Pool closed till 1430(it was 1030). So everyone decide to go JP, I suggested to go YT but they wanted JP cuz Ah Ber didn't bring trunks but soccer shorts! Then I told them that I had a later appointment with Wei Xun(for "Sith") and called him later if we could watch a later show but he couldn't cuz he had an appointment with a fren in the evening and was working for the rest of the month everyday and couldn't catch a movie. Feeling guilty, I had to cancel the show with him and joined the TK Clan for "Sith". I'll make it up to you bro! Our TK cheif, TK Chew was very nice to pillion me to and fro teh swimming complex cuz I didn't have vitamin "C" in my ez link card. At the pool, SL and Ah Ber was late! Gone shopping when TK and I were on the way to the swimming complex, called them up and they cut us off. SL, you're a F****** coward. Ok, this was the first time I joined the TK Clan for a swim and was in for a big surprise! Wah lau, they were desperate enough to follow gals(and I mean 14-15 year old xiao mei meis) in the lazy pool! Haha, watching them do stuff like this made me laugh whenever I went along with them during their "desperate trips". I had to break away from the "trips" for awhile and went to the competition pool for a(serious) swim(did I mention there got more bijou(s)? more matured mah), hmmm not bad, 300m, 6 laps, freestyle, no problem(i just need bigger lungs heh).

Now, for the review of "Sith":
Watching the final installation of the Star Wars series made me want to unlearn what I've learnt or unwatch what I've watched(the old Trilogy) to appreciate it. If you're a fan of the original Star Wars trilogy, better watch the old films to put your faith back in the force(they're that good!). Firstly, too many special effects, I mean, R2D2 is nomore the lovable robot we used to know! It's looks like a bloody Xbox game! And Yoda, yes, Yoda. Frank Oz is still the voice actor but Yoda's all 3D. I prefer the muppet Yoda anyday! Watch the old Star Wars Film and you could feel the magic, none of all that 3D rubbish, it was all heart. I cannot imagine them filming "Empire"(my all time fav SW episode), the Dagobah scenes in full 3D. It woold've killed the experience. Oh, yeah, did I say that the acting was rather stiff? They looked like human cardboards! Or like someone stuck a steel rod up their arses! And dun get me started on the romance scenes(which were thankfully few). The scene where Anakin pledged allegiance to the sith was unbelievable! Evidance was there that Palpatine was evil he still believed Palpatine was good, even people with IQs over 50(did I say 50? I mean 15) could see through it and I can't see why he couldn't. Lastly, the lines sounded corny at times(many times). The saving graces of the movie was the light saber battles and Ewan Mcgregor's acting as "Ben" Kenobi. George Should've stuck to story telling, got reputable script writers(Lawrence Kasdan and Leigh Brackett, ok they were script writers for "Empire"), called in Irvin Kershner to direct and done away with 80% of the 3D crap in the movie. I would've enjoyed it then! Well, the force is NOT strong with this one but it made for an entertaining/interesting 2+ hours. Only to be watched once. If given the chance, I'll call it Tar Wars, Crapisode III, "Blunder of the Jedi(George?)" Oh, and I forgot, Darth Vader looks so Skinny. Nomore the Big intimidating evil dude I knew from the original trilogy...... oh the sadness. Thankfully, James Earl Jones is back to do that sexy Vader voice again. I guess I better stop lest someone does a dark side choke on me and says: "I find your lack of faith disturbing..." then does that hand sign saying: "You'll like episode III" before letting me go.
So, I've answered the master's call(Lucas) and am finally free of the bondage of the Star Wars universe(unless they wanted to do episodes VII to IX... highly unlikely) and life is once again, back to normal(making me lose 7 bucks in the process, it was a mind trick I tell you).
